The latest batch of ASUS ROG Phone 5 gaming phones has just come out of production and has the high specs you would expect from such a high-end device.
First of all, the biggest difference from this year’s ROG Phone 5 series is that there are three variants available at once: ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. Each option has its own specific features that distinguish it from the others.
The biggest difference between the ROG Phone 5 and the Pro and Ultimate variants is the aesthetics. The ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate feature hidden touch sensors on the back that provide L2/R2 triggering capabilities, just like a gaming console controller.
They also work with AirTrigger 5 ultrasonic sensors, AeroActive Cooler 5 buttons and motion controls to provide total control for a complete gaming experience.

ROG Phone 5 Series Price and availability
The ROG Phone 5 series has a very affordable entry price compared to previous generations, making it much more accessible to anyone who wants one of the best gaming smartphones in the world.
The price of the ROG Phone 5 is RM2,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and RM3,799 for the 16GB + 256GB version. The ROG Phone 5 Pro has a retail price of RM4,499, while the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a retail price of RM4,999.
It should also be noted that the ROG Phone 5 will be available in Phantom Black and Storm White. The professional version will only be offered in ghost black, while the ultimate version will only be available in storm white.
Additionally, the new AeroActive Cooler5 only comes with the ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. Those who want the base model of the ROG Phone 5 will have to pay extra for the new AeroActive cooler.
The ROG Phone 5 will launch in April this year and is currently available from 11-27. March for pre-order, which includes a free RPG 3 Kunai Gamepad worth RM499. The ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate will be launched later in May.

- The ROG Kunai 3 Bumper for the ROG Phone 5 will be available from April 2021 and will retail for RM69.
- The ROG 1.8m USB-C to USB-C cable will be available in May 2021 and costs RM59.
- The ROG Strix Go Core is also available in stores for RM319.
- The ROG Cetra II will be available in May 2021 and will have a price tag of RM499.
- The ROG Cetra II Core will be available in April 2021 and will cost RM199.
