We are already inclined to understand that PRINCE2 (Projects in a Controlled Environment) can be a methodology for project management that is used in over one hundred and fifty countries around the world. It is a generalized project management methodology that can be applied to projects of all sizes, regardless of the nature of the business.

PRINCE2 online training can be a 7s project management method. All principles, topics and processes follow this model. Here we tend to dissect each person and discuss how they feel about different things.

1. Seven principles

PRINCE2 is based on seven fundamental principles. Together, these principles provide a framework for ongoing practice:

a. Continuation of activity justification

The project must remain economically viable. The return on investment should be transparent and your time and resources should be used fairly.

b. Learning from experience

Project teams should take into account lessons learned from previous experiences. To this end, the education protocol is continuously updated.

v. Description of duties and responsibilities

All involved need to understand what they and others are doing. Part of the problem is who makes the decisions.

d. Control via step

Complex tasks are happiest when broken down into manageable chunks or steps.

e. Deviation

A successful project does not need much interference from managers. The Project Board will be formed, if available, or may be deferred.

f. Focus on the product

Everyone should know in advance what is expected of the product. The needs of the product in the assessment of the work activity, not the other way around.

7. Adjustment procedure

PRINCE2 is often scaled up and down. Therefore, tailoring PRINCE2 to their needs is an additional factor that offers a better chance of success than a dogmatic application of PRINCE2.

2. Seven subjects

The themes give an idea of how the project will be implemented. They are treated as information areas, where the principles are placed below. They are established at the beginning of the project and are therefore monitored throughout the project:

a. Business

This is linked to the principle of continuous justification of activities. In this section you can know if the project is interesting or not and if it is feasible.

b. Organisation

Linked to the principle of defining roles and responsibilities. The theme of the organization needs project leaders who have all roles and responsibilities embedded in the documents.

v. Quality

This is linked to the main objective of the product principle. Quality is often an associative and abstract construct, so its formation at the beginning of a project is important for the rest of the work.

d. Plans

The plan describes. However, the objectives are being achieved. It focuses on product, schedule, cost, quality and value.

e. Risk

The purpose of this section is to identify, assess and manage hazardous events throughout the project. They will be included in the risk register. Negative risks are called threats and positive risks are called opportunities.

f. Amendment

This section deals with the handling of change requests and problems that arise during the project. However, the intention is not to stop the changes, but to encourage them to unite before they die.

d. Progress

Progress is about keeping up with the project. This allows project managers to know and manage where they are in relation to the installation. Not only will you be able to explore the trails while she – or someone else – is not following the subjects, but you won’t even remember them.

3. Delivery of product to customer

There are two types of courses offered by project management training institutes:

PRINCE2 Foundation : The trainees are trained in the basic principles of PRINCE2. Participants will learn the seven principles, seven themes and seven processes of the PRINC2 methodology.

The PRINCE2 Foundation exam tests whether the candidate has mastered all the fundamental elements of PRINCE2. This is an examination for which the candidate must obtain at least thirty-five out of seventy marks.

PRINCE2 Practitioner : Trainees learn to understand what a periodic project is. You will receive specific training to apply the PRINCE2 principles, themes and processes to the project.

The PRINCE2 exam for professionals tests whether the candidate can apply these ideas to a project task. It’s an 80-point exam. A candidate must achieve a minimum score of 55% to be awarded the PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate.

Procedures: The seven PRINCE2 processes describe the responsibilities. In short, these processes tell you who can do what and when. Seven PRINCE2 methods:

  • Beginning of the project
  • Project size
  • Project management
  • Scene management
  • Management of product delivery
  • Managing the boundaries of the scene
  • Completion of the project
  • Economic calculation
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Learning from experience
  • Office for Exceptions
  • Management by level
  • Adapted to the environment
  • Focus on the product
