The DigiBoxx was launched a month after search engine giant Google announced it would limit storage to 15 GB instead of offering unlimited storage in the cloud. For those who don’t know: Before Google announced new storage limits last month, it offered unlimited storage space for photos.

Start of activity
To use the DigiBoxx, you must create an account by entering your Digispace username, address, city, state, mobile phone number and password. For other cloud-based applications, all you have to do is enter your username and password to log in. In the DigiBoxx you need to enter your Digispace, password and username to login to your account. Main Interface
The main interface of the DigiBoxx shows three folders – Pictures, Videos and Others. You will also see a checkbox to select all files, an option to filter the data/change its appearance from grid to list, and an option to upload a file.
DigiBoxx allows users to download different types of files. As soon as the DigiBoxx has finished downloading the file, a pre-filled form will appear on the screen. This form has text fields to enter the name and description of the file, add tags, and a checkbox to mark the file as uploadable, etc. The form is also available for download. The cloud storage service specifies a filename as the header/descriptor for the upload. A tag is also created from the file extension. For example, if you download a PNG file, the DigiBoxx creates a PNG tag.
Once your file has been uploaded, you will need to click on it to view, share or post it. When you share a file with other users, not only do they have access to the file, but they can also comment on it. The file uploader can see the activity log. The activity log contains information such as. For example, changes to the file, upload/edit date of the file, etc. are not taken into account.
Statistics
The DigiBoxx shows a nice histogram of the used memory. It shows the total file size in GB/MB/KB and the number of views or downloads you have created.

The DigiBoxx allows users to execute downloaded files. You can also assign the file to other users. This is an interesting feature for free users and companies.
Filtering and searching
You can sort the files in the DigiBoxx by name in ascending or descending order or by size. The application also makes it possible to filter files by type and search for files by name.

The DigiBoxx payment plans are incredibly affordable. The company offers storage up to 2TB for the price of Rs 30 lakhs. Each DigiBoxx plan supports integration with Gmail and supports collaboration, which means you can share files, invite people to edit files, and more.
With the free version of DigiBoxx, users can download files up to 2 GB. Paid plans support files up to 10 GB in size. There is a special plan for companies that do not have a file size limit. Paid DigiBoxx plans offer 2 TB of unlimited storage.

Alternatives to DigiBoxx
DropBox offers its users 2 GB of storage free of charge. It also offers a client application for Linux, Windows and IOS operating systems.

My experience with the DigiBoxx
I uploaded some files to my DigiBoxx account. The transfer was fast and smooth. The only thing that bothered me was the error page that the browser displayed just after I registered the account.
