Although I have access to my current email through Microsoft 365, I have a specific desktop version for my computer. Recently, when I logged into my computer, a logout message appeared in the bottom right of the screen.

If you are experiencing similar issues, here are some troubleshooting tips to help you correct the error of logging out of Outlook client on Windows.

How do I bring Outlook back online?

1. Skype close for business

  1. Click the arrow icon in the taskbar to show hidden applications.
  2. Right-click on Skype for Business and select Exit.
  3. Restart the perspective. Click on the Send/Send tab.
  4. Press the Offline Operation button.
  5. Now check the status. If the Offline status is displayed, close Skype.
  6. If the status indicates otherwise, press the Run Offline button again until the status changes to Run Offline.
  7. Restart the perspective.
  8. Make sure the login window is separate from the Outlook window. (If it is not visible, minimize the other applications running and press F9 to launch them).
  9. Enter your username and password in the field.
  10. In the Outlook client, click Work Offline to change the status to Work Online.
  11. The problem of disconnecting the Outlook client should now be solved.
  12. Be sure to restart your computer before signing in to Skype for Business again.

2. Repair panel 365

  1. Press Windows + R to open Run.
  2. Enter the control panel and click OK to open it.
  3. Go to Programs and then Programs and Features.
  4. Select the version of Microsoft Office and click Edit.
  5. Two options are displayed in the repair window.
Quick Repair – this option works without the internet. Select it and follow the instructions on the screen.
Online Recovery – If it was not possible to correct the Outlook client logout error, try this option. Select an option and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. When the repair is complete, close the troubleshooter and restart Outlook. See if there’s any improvement.

3. Delete and add a Microsoft account

  1. Start the Outlook client.
  2. Click on File and select the Information tab.
  3. Click on Account Settings and select Account Settings.
  4. Select your account and click Delete. Press Yes to confirm the action.
  5. Restart the perspective.
  6. Click on File and then click on Add Account.
  7. Enter your receipts and check for improvements.

Want to add additional accounts to your Outlook client? Here’s how.

5. Creating a new perspective profile

  1. Start the Outlook client.
  2. Click on File and select Account Settings.
  3. Choose Maintain Profiles.
  4. Click View Profile and select Add.
  5. Enter a profile name and click OK.
  6. Add your email account to your new profile. You can now use your Outlook account without disabling the error.
