Github is the most popular place in the world for software developers to share and collaborate on code. According to a recent survey, the average Github user has over 100 repositories, including around 88 commits, and they are very active, with an average of three pull requests per month. The company is planning to expand beyond the web, and their desktop environment and development tools are likely to look like Windows 10.

When Microsoft unveiled the new Windows 10 operating system (OS) to the public, many people were surprised to see that for the first time in Windows history, it would be free. However, it was not the price tag that had people stunned, it was the design of the operating system.

There is a new group of fans who are excited about the upcoming Windows 11 release, for those who are not aware, this is the new operating system which is going to replace windows 8 and Windows 10, if you are using Windows 10, then this may be one of the things you want to know. With Windows 10, Microsoft has already indicated that it will use a touch type interface with the desktop and with Windows 11, it is going to take things to another level, with the touch screen support, it will be more akin to using a tablet in comparison to the regular desktop.. Read more about windows 11 download and let us know what you think.

  • More widely used apps is currently being redesigned to seem like Windows 11 natives.
  • We’ve already discovered that there is a technique to give Steam this new fluent look.
  • Coding applications such as VS Code, Visual Studio, and GitHub have all received a new appearance.
  • Rejoice in the knowledge that these design proposals have also been submitted for formal assessment, indicating that they may soon become a reality.

There is now a considerable amount of software that does not work properly or at all on Microsoft’s new operating system.

Users who only have access to one device, on which they’ve already installed the Windows 11 preview release, may remember these programs fondly.

One more tech-savvy user just created some concept software for Visual Studio, GitHub Desktop, and VS Code, and it appears that everyone wants a piece of it.

These ideas aroused a lot of curiosity among users.

Zeealeidahmad, a Reddit member, recently sparked enormous frenzy among Windows 11 users by disclosing some notions he’d been working on for weeks.

This is stunning. I’m curious if, like Google and Apple, we’ll eventually get a truly consistent UX (not only the design, but also the usability features: consistent menu placement, consistent usage of icons, and so on) across all Microsoft products. Even with the design upgrades for Windows 11, the Xbox, Windows, Office, Edge, and VS apps all have separate UXs right now. Even within these ecologies. All of the other programs have menus on the top, except Teams, Settings, and Windows Store, which have menus on the side.

He revamped critical tools including Visual Studio, GitHub Desktop, and VS Code to give them the same fresh, fluid style as Microsoft’s future operating system.

Needless to say, once everyone saw these software solutions with the new Windows 11 design, they were instantly attracted and began looking for them online.

However, as previously said, this is merely a concept created by this user and is not currently available elsewhere.

I went straight to the website to see if there was any new information. It’s a shame it was only a notion. Congratulations, mate.

Despite the fact that these design decisions are based on some very basic characteristics, such as more rounded edges or increased transparency, consumer demand for similar themes on more software is sky-high.

It will only continue to expand, since many Windows 10 customers who have experienced the new features of Windows 11 are unwilling to return to the old design.

You’ll also be glad to learn that these concepts have already been submitted for official evaluation on GitHub and the Developer Community, allowing us to see the design in action in our favorite coding tools.

Those who reacted to Zeealeidahmad’s Reddit post would be happy to hear this.

And while we’re on the subject of making existing programs look like they’re from Windows 11, you should know that a similar skin can also be applied to Steam.

Remember that Windows 11 is still in the early stages of testing, so we can’t yet get a thorough image of how the OS will look and feel once it’s released.

The only thing we can do now is wait, while simultaneously ensuring that we provide as much feedback as possible so that Microsoft has enough data to make the required changes.

What are your thoughts on the new coding software design choices? Please let us know in the comments section below.

With Microsoft’s Windows 10 now in the marketplace, many of us are wondering what the future holds for the way we use Windows and Microsoft’s other products. The answer, according to the latest releases, is a lot of change. As Windows 10 becomes the default OS for new PCs, it will be required to run alongside older versions of Windows. So, what does this mean for the development teams that are still using Windows 7, 8 or even 10 for their development PCs? What tools will be used, and what windowing solutions will be available?. Read more about windows 11 facebook and let us know what you think.
